That said, I still am feeling a little bit uneasy on where to start.
I could go about making an educated decision on buying anall in one internal water cooling kit, but I've had friends tell me that it's better to buy the parts individually.
I'm half doing this to lower temps and also half just for the experience (got some extra money laying around time to enlighten myself!)
These are my comp specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-920 2.66Ghz 8M LGA1366 CPU
GPU: EVGA GTX 260 Super Clocked -> Upgrading to MSI GTX 680 Lightning in 2 days
PSU: ULTRA X4 750W POWER SUPPLY MODULAR
RAM: Corsair XMS3 6GB DDR3 Tri PC12800 1600MHz (3x2GB)
HDD: WD Caviar Green 1TB 32MB/SATA-3G -> "Upgrading" to Samsung SSD 840 Pro
MOBO: Asus P6T Intel X58 Socket LGA1366 Motherboard
OTHER: LG 22X DVDRW SATA w/o Software
CASE: CoolerMaster CM690 Black ATX Case SLI Ready
My goal is to have a water block for the CPU & GPU.
Budget = no real budget, but was hoping to stay in the $200-400 range.
Can anyone give me a nudge in the right direction?
I'm guessing my shopping list has to include:
1. Radiator: ???
2. Fans: ???
3. CPU Blocks: ???
4. GPU Block: ??? (This one seems easy, there appears to be a specific block for the MSI GTX 680)
5. Pumps: ???
6. Res: ???
7. Tubings & Fittings: ???
*Edit: Included Case (Note: I would consider buying a new case if need be)
