Phenom II X4 970 and ASUS M4A89TD pro/USB3 compatability

I've checked the asus site and the 970 3.5 quad isn't on the cpu compatibility list. I was wondering if anyone else had used this combo and if there were any problems.

Yes! I do have this combo and today I'm getting rid of this Mobo. I have been trying to fix the problem all week and seeing your post has given me some inspiration. My Sapphire 6970 wont show any output and my keyboard and mouse arent getting any power from the Mobo slots. So ill replace it today (with a compatible Mobo) and ill keep you posted. GL
