Hello,

I recently bought an Alienware M17X R4! And I
Gotta say I'm not too impressed with the performance I know it has more potential. I don't know much about CPUs and such but how can I increase the Ghz it's currently at 2.3 It can go up to 3.3.. What will I need to do in terms of what I should look for in the BIOs just to increase my FPS!

Help would greatly be appreciated
Thanks in advance

P.S. I play WoW and I want to optimize game play

The thing is with laptops is heat dissipation, and overclocking increases heat, with no method of increasing your cooling, overclocking laptops is a very bad idea

Ja, I would not overclock any laptop. Not a good idea...

Made a mistake purchasing from Alienware imo, so much money just for the branding. Another mistake (again, my opinion) was purchasing a laptop. You can't exactly go full out with upgrading and heat can be a problem for long gaming sessions. Overclocking on a laptop is not a good choice.
