Memory ddr3

On my memory write 4Gb (2*2) , but show's only 2Gb of ram?
what is the problem??
memory is DDR3 1333

Cpuz will show the correct amount. Windows won't unless you reinstall it after you install the new ram.

What are you talking about? I put more ram into machines all the time you dont need to reinstall.

Your post screen and cpuz will show the increase if the ram is installed properly, but the "system properties" section of windows 7 may not.

Its weird cause all my Windows 7 machines it all works. One machine with 6GB of ram (2x1gb and 2x2gb) another with 4GB (2x2) my work windows 7 PC with 4GB (4x1GB) which had a 2GB stick and I added new ram sticks (all 1GB),moved others around so it was paired properly and it shows 4GB. Might be some other issue possibly BIOS related or some weird system setting

^ Looking how Windows 7 is praised so much,this issue shouldn't be possible. I agree, it might be from another cause besides the OS.
