p.s i noticed i put overclock i meant bottleneck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sry.... evil tiredness =_= wheres ma energy drinks?!

ok soo heres my system right now

intel i3 530 3ghz

4gb DDr3 pc3 10700

750gb sata hard drive

Sound blaster X-fi somthin 5.1 surround sound

and my weakest point my graphics card

Asus 512mb DDr2 Geforce 210 pci-e

so now for my question

Would a ATI 5770 1gb DDR5 directx 11 be worth the money?

and Also key question *Would my system bottleneck the 5770?*

Question 2
At like 1200 x 768 res high no Direct X 10 on da 5770 would crysis run smothly? and what fps do you think i would get? :bounce:
personally i moved from a way worse system

Amd 4400+ X2 2ghz

1.5gb 133mhz

80gb Hard drive

4650 1gb DDr2 AGP

so im not interested in AA or AF or any crazy resoulutions just some decent textures some nice shadows and most of all nice smooth gameplay :D

also be cool if you could give me some other info on how this rig will run other games with the 5770 and agian no AA or AF and just basic 1200x768 wide screen res i dont care about jaggies :na:

More about : balanced overclock

Question 1- The 5770 would be an excellent choice for that system. The brand new i3 processor will not bottleneck.

At a low resolution like 1200 x 768 the HD 5770 is overkill for virtually any game.

The thing you forgot to mention in here is power supplies--I assume your system can run a 5770?

in addition to your questions--some critique:

Why would you buy an i3? I think there are much better values in AMD processors at that price range. You could get a quad core.

Why are you using ddr2 instead of newer ddr3?

Why dont you spend some of your money on a new monitor? You can get nice monitors for like $120. Why bother spending so much on graphics if you cant barely see it?
