Do I need to reset the hd?

Yo,

Looks like I will finally be getting my first build together this afternoon and truth is that I dont want to buy a new hd. Im on a $48 motherboard with integrated graphics, etc. Anyways, I was wondering if I could simply go ahead and pop in the hd without any changes into the new build or should i do a reset? I just dont want to deal with the annoyance of saving my data and then running a reset...

If the motherboards are the same chipset and at least the drive controller is the same thing, you should be able to just use the old drive from the old system. If they are different, you would want to do a clean Windows re-installation on the new setup.
