Windows won't start up

Hi bit of a issue here... Started my computer and it went into system repair mode after where it says "Starting Windows". Came back saying it could not fix the issue. I looked at the log and it states that windows\system32\iastor.sys is corrup. I tried bookting from the win7 dvd and tried to restore to previous session but nothing is working, still going into the same system repair mode.


Don't tell me reformatting is the only way, please...
 



@jtpark: You could try safemode and run sfc /scannow
