How to fix p6x58d-e memory problem

The ram is not miixed and matched, at present there is 4gig in slots 3 and 5 if I put the ram in slot 1 it doesnt even show

Also if I put the ram in slots 1 and 3 the machine will not start up

Most importantly, I ass-u-me you're running a 64-bit OS otherwise 4GB is the MAX.

Also, you can run Memtest {with ALL 3 sticks} 2 passes; burn a CD/DVD {from ISO/zip file} - http://www.memtest.org/
