I am likely going to upgrade my computer motherboard soon and want to buy a GPU with it. I have not decided which one yet. I will most likely buy this motherboard - ASUS (P7H55D-M EVO) (INTEL H55) SOCKET LGA 1156 along with an Intel i5 650.

Anyways my question is, can a GPU that requires 2 PCIe x16 slots work with the above motherboard that only has 1 PCIe x16 slot?
Because of my budget i can't really afford a motherboard that has two PCIe x 16 slots.

I am probably looking at buying the BFG GTS 250 1GB, I have no clue whether this card needs 2 slots or one. Could someone find out for me and answer my above question too?

When the cards say "2xPCIe lanes" is beacause they have a "doble wide" cooling system, wich uses literally 2 PCIe slots in terms of space, not connection.

And yes, that card probably uses 2 slots for spacing.
