I have a gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H ver 1.0 system that had been working fine for 4 months. Recently, the audio drivers went bad and could not be loaded again. Gigabyte support told me to do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit and try to get the drivers loaded. I added the drivers from the Gigabyte website one at a time and everything worked except for the ATI VGA driver. When that driver was added, I get to a windows splash screen and then freeze. When I restore back to the default windows driver, the system works. Any suggestions for a different video driver or do I have to RMA the board? I would like to be able to use the dual monitor HDMI output.

Could I possibily have bad ram memory? What is the easiest way to test 4 gigs of memory on a Windows 7 64 bit system?

I have reloaded the driver several times. I even tried using drivers from other sources. Sometimes the driver load gives me a failure message. When it does load and I reboot, I always get the frozen screen

thanks.
