5770 xfire or 5850?

Which would you guys go for? My power supply is fine for either.

I would go for a single HD 5850.

Though Xfire 5770 will give better performance but single HD5850 is more than enough for now and you've Xfiring option down the road.

I also would go with a single 5850 even though two 5770s are faster and sometimes cheaper but the main thing is that you have an upgrade path with the 5850 since it only takes one pcie slot.

Single HD5850 for many reasons. Main ones:

If the game does not support Xfire properly you are stuck with one HD5770 (sucks).
If one of them goes bad you are stuck with one HD5770 (sucks also).
Noise and heat.

im going to vote crossfire two 5770 or 5750.

xfire drivers are getting better and better, also if your board support a 3rd card you can slot one more in later once the price has dropped.

I vote for Crossfire the 5770s. More bang for the buck with a little OCing mine beat 5870s, plus if you don't plan on upgrading for a while when you trade them you can probably trade both for a single 6XXX card then crossfire them...
