just got an asus ENGT240 but I was surprised that there is nowhere to plug a power supply into the card.Does this seem ok. Odviously it must have adequate power already from the board. I thought most recent cards needed the extra power. Has anyone fitted one and used it.

Solution
However if you insist.

The GT 240 gets all the power it needs from the pci-e slot. I have one in a SFF system. It is between a GF 9500 GT and a GF 9600 GT in performance. Closer to the GF 9600 GT.

Only one game mouse? Odd things can happen when you do that.

This last one of HawkX is a bit of a stretch. Look at only the DX10 numbers, and notice that the 9600GT doesn't take the lead until you get to 19x10. Even at 16x10 however its faster then one of the cards but slower then the other. I'll see my three games to your one.

As a side note, I only did this to prove a point. Anyone looking at a full GT240 review should notice that the 9600GT is mostly a slower card. Here and there yes, but its slower overall.
