Hey guys. So I already have some of my parts but I still need a few more. You can find the full system specs here:

https://docs.google.com/document/edit?id=1Qt8y1Pea_2mqY...

or - http://goo.gl/yJnI

Now I guess really my main question is, with the video card Im getting and the wireless adapter, will I be rendering my system unusable if I get the Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 instead of the GA-P55A-UD3??

The parts I dont have yet are the ones with the prices on em, the rest I already have

My rig will work if I get the USB3 right? Or will I be hurting myself?

More about : usb3 ud3

I'm getting the XFX Radeon HD 5770 (Juniper XT) (http://goo.gl/pMfm) which uses a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot

The wireless adapter is an ASUS PCE-N13 (http://goo.gl/UIby) which uses a PCI Express port

Here is a comparison of the UD3 vs the USB3 - http://goo.gl/qKsl

From what I can tell, the USB3 lacks SATA III (which doesnt matter to me) and I think one of the PCI slots are a bit diff, but from what I can tell I shouldn't have any problems right?

Well if you don't need the SATA III (well want it - only like one SSD supports SATA III right now xP) then you can go with the USB3. IT's pretty much the same board just no SATA III. And for $109 it's not bad x). There are no hard drives out there that can take advantage of SATA III - so it's not a critical requirement, just a "want" lol.

Yup everything should work fine :)  The wireless will fit in the second PCIe - of course it'll only go about 4x - but its not a graphics card so that overkill speed already xD

Btw, what are you looking into for the psu and memory?

I updated my links so you can check it out, I'm getting the G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 @ 1333 MHz (Black) CAS Latency of 7

The PSU I already have which is a Corsair 750TX

The links in my original post should work

Everything seems to spec out pretty well. Not too satisfied for the card (AMD! >=O   )

so you decided on going with the UD3?

Yessir, and I like Radeons :)  I don't like AMD for CPUs, but the cards are nice :)
