Nvidia gt220 issues

So I attempted to make change my resolution in the Nvidia control panel and my screen just went blank. I started in safe mode and deleted my drivers and tried to reinstall, and now my pc doesn't detect the video card.

Help??

If you set it to a resolution that the monitor does not support, it will go blank but should revert back after 10-15 seconds, did you wait before shutting it down? Do you have an onboard card you can work with? Are you getting any image at all?
