Partially broken MB ?

It is possible the the motherboard is partially broken ?

Like all 2D stuff is working nice. But when going 3D (games)all my game are glitched with polygon lines.

Do shader instruction take same path than 2D basic instruction from the VideoCard to the motherboard ?
