this is a little guy asking for help to decide about motherboard & Processor. We Just got P7H57d V Evo And Core i7 860 in our market. Plz suggest me if i can buy them? I want to work in 3ds max/Maya/AutoCAD . Would the combination be fruitfull with Hd 4670 1gb(DDR 3)?
HD 4670 video card is a slow card its really only good for multimedia type stuff gaming and 3d apps will be slow and be a huge bottleneck for an I7. Since you will not be using this for gaming directX 11 isn't needed so I would suggests either a HD 4850 or 4870. Or a Nvidia GTX 260 or better the 4670 is really not a good card for 3d type stuff.
We just got (ASUS H57) Motherboard in our market and (i7-860) for it & with (sapphire 4670).I'll work on 3ds max/Maya/AutoCAD & these sorts of softs with the computer. Can You tell me would the combination fine enough to me?
NB:we don't have P55 E series motherboard yet to have the (USB 3.0/SATA 3.0).So i decided to buy those. And whats about the power supply (watts)? Which HDD? If u can, suggest me the full spec of the PC. I'll like to be very grateful to u.
There is no point in us listing computer parts. We have no idea whats available where you are. You need to list a sample build, and we will suggest changes. You'll have to look to see if they are possible, and let us know what else is available if you can't get it.
Lack of gaming cards isn't a big deal like Saaiello thinks. 3Ds max, Cad, etc don't really care about the video card. You might want to look to see if the version you have support CUDA, and if they do buy an Nvidia card.
Those programs should use CPU and RAM, not the video card. Unless they can use CUDA, it shouldn't matter what video card you have. All the video card needs to do is output what the CPU did. They aren't 3D accelerated programs.
