Zotac Geforce 9500GT

So I have a pretty old PC. I’ve been making some small updates lately just to do a small amount of gaming with older games (Oblivion mainly). I bought a Zotac Geforce 9500GT 512MB recently from Amazon. I bought it because the 9500GT I was told was about the best card I could get with my motherboard. It is a NODUSM3 1.05. My question is has anyone used this card made by Zotac? Did I make a mistake buying the Zotac version?

My current specs:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (2.2GHz) (will update to 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz soon)
2 GB of RAM (will update to 4 soon)

Does anyone know if this will run Oblivion smoothly?

Maybe On medium settings, depends what resolution you play at.

If your happy with playing older games on less than max settings then its a good purchase for you.
  2. Okay. Max settings would be good, but as long as it will run smoothly I think I can live without them. Thanks for the answer.
