Whats te best fan based cpu cooler for overclocking an amd phenom ii x4? its on an am3+ mobo and i have a full tower case so size likely isnt a concern. thanks

how well does it compare to the 30$ hyper 212 evo? is it worth the extra 50$?

from what i've heard its a huge improvement and there's also the thermal light silver arrow and the extreme version

212 evo vs. d-14 all depends how far you want to overclock the chip and how far you're willing to push the voltages beyond the 1.55v max.

You can likely hit near 4.0Ghz stable with the 212 evo
