HD5670 vs 9800GT Tags: Graphics Cards Sapphire Graphics Last response: February 23, 2010 3:55 PM in Graphics & Displays Share yonyz February 23, 2010 1:23:45 PM Hi, I can get HD5670 and 9800GT for about the same price. However, the HD5670 has 512MB VRAM (by Sapphire) while the 9800GT has 1GB of VRAM (by Galaxy). I would like to know which one of them is faster at 1680x1050. Thanks. (also the 5670 is DDR5 and the 9800GT is DDR3 which is slower) http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1187/2/ Aneesh@4GHz a b U Graphics card February 23, 2010 1:59:44 PM I recomend a HD5670 512mb ddr5 as it is faster than ddr3 9800gt ,But for ur high res ,I recomend u to get the 1gb card! The HD5670 is 500NIS while the HD4850 is 600. I would pay the extra 100NIS for the HD4850. If I had them, that is. Derbixrace a b U Graphics card February 23, 2010 3:16:53 PM ohhh you are in another country, i just assumed you were from the us, the price difference between 9800gt and 4850 isnt so big at newegg so what about a 4770? is that too expensive, its a bit better than a 5670. It performs almost equal to the 4770/8800GTS 512mb tier, and below the 4850/9800GTX. So the performance difference is probably around 15%ish... you have raw power vs runs cooler/better power consumption/dx11 support. I'd probably get the 5670 if I didn't have a GPU, or another 4850 for Xfire if I already had one. yonyz February 23, 2010 3:55:19 PM The 4770 is out of my budget. I can't remember its exact price (talked to a seller on the phone) nor I can find it out today, but I removed it from my list because of its price, which means there's no reason to consider it anyway. I think I'll get the HD5670. Thanks! Can't find your answer ? Ask !
