I am interested in a GAMING PC with good possibilities of video-editing, some 3d rendering and image-editing. (Sony Vegas/After Effects, Photoshop, 3DS Max, etc)
I have no special parts preference, but since I have a Syncmaster 2233RZ, it would be a small plus if it would be a Nvidia GPU supporting 3D Vision, allthough, overall performance is a lot more important - I am ready to wait with buying my GPU until the end of March when Nvidia release there new series.
I want a new MB, RAM and CPU as soon as possible, and of course I want atleast 4gb RAM.
I do not need a new mouse, keyboard or anything such as that.
I live in Sweden and would prefer shops such as www.inet.se or www.komplett.se.
I understand most of you aren't Swedish so I am okay with links to other sites, if you want to try to use the Swedish pages, "Sök" = "Search" and you can use that field to find parts.
$1200 is around 8000 Swedish kronor.

Well the paste from Komplett.se it not the best but I figure you can figure that out. Leaves your 3200 if your reuse your case/power supply if you want overclock then thats changes things but the power supply should be more than enough power for a single video card. Not sure if it would be enough left over for a new fermi card cause theres been no real pricing. You could save a little getting the 500gb F3 but figured you'd want the space with the editing. Found it odd that almost everything carried a higher price after conversion to Kronor except the motherboard which is why I chose it.
Oh, the article i post was to give you an idea of what that i5 system could do and possible budget with a similar system.
yes but I dotn know a lot about hardware and figured that must be the best money can buy, so I was dissapointed when I saw I couldnt afford it, or well, I could start out with an i5, one 5850, 4gb ram (or maybe 6?), a mobo and maybe even a ssd, but I do not know how to pick the components.
Keep in mind that prices are a bit higher in Sweden.
Do you think it'll be more performance for less money if I buy things in a package like that, or if I pick it together myself?
The i7 + 6gb ram is really attractive in the more expensive deal.
Also, no need to point out that the i5 version costs $leet.
