ok so i have read that when u have 2 gpu's the space between them is not enough and that leads to the bottom card heating up. would this happen to me if i use 2 GigaByte GeForce GTX460 Super Overclock cards.

this is the setup of the boards
PCI Express 2 x16 3 x PCI Express 2.0 x16
(Support at x16, x8, x8, or dual x16 speed)
PCI Express x1 2 x PCI Express 2.0 x1
PCI Slots 1

If your board has PCI-E slots, then you can use one card on the first slot, and the second one on the third slot. This way they'll operate at x16x8(rather than dual x16),but don't worry about the performance. They offer roughly the same performance.
And yes,if you put 2 cards in the first and second PCI-E slot, the bottom card will run hotter but if you have a good air flow in your case, you shouldn't worry much about it.

Actually, it's the top card that gets hot, because it's fans are blocked by the bottom card. The GTX 480 has intake holes in the back of the card to alievate the issue (the back is the top because cards have the fan on the bottom). Probably the worst cards to use when there's little space between them are cards that vent into the case, rather than out the second slot.
