Good morning forum,

I'm hoping to get some assistance with upgrading my computer. I am forced to upgrade since my homebuilt from 3 years ago died for some unknow reason. It quit posting and started giving a beep code which I researched. After testing the PSU and changing the RAM it still didn't work. I've tried removing components one by one to see when the beeping would stop and that only happened after I removed the cpu. I figured its time to upgrade but I've been away from computing info. for a while now. I'm planning to reuse the PSU (Antec 450W), video card (Radeon 1800XT) and HD/ROM. I realize the stuff is old...I built it about 3 years ago. I was scanning Newegg and I came up with this setup:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103674

Would this be a good setup for me? I do a bit of gaming (Modern Warfare type games) and may watch movies time to time. I do not overclock but am looking to have a machine that will run future programs. I'll only upgrade when its necessary. I'm willing to spend about $500. Please help and if any more info. is needed, let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I will not be running quad SLI. However, I may run dual video cards in the near future. I don't require the fastest equipment around but I'd like smooth and reliable computing.
