In the Intel rapid storage technology advanced option my 120gb SSD only shows 3gbs transfer rate. My 64gb Corsair shows 6gbs. I thought both were supposed to be 6gbs. Is there a reason why the 120gbs is slower?

Are you on a SATA 6GB or 3GB connector on the motherboard is the first question that comes in mind!

Not 100% sure. Will have to find motherboard manual and check as didn't realize there are two different connectors!

I am now on a 6gb connector but still seems slow compared to the 64gb. If I put a 6gb transfer rate cable on it would that make any difference?

The cable should not make a difference unless you are using a very low quality cable but does not hurt to try.
Then again what model drives are you comparing?

The two SSDs are:

OCZ AGT3-25SAT3-120G Agility 3 120GB SATA III 2.5 inch SSD and

Corsair 60GB Force3 SSD S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s

There should not be much of a difference http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/371?vs=400
(did not have a choice for 60GB on the force3)
