Mobo:http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186147

I'm planning on buying these 2 things but I'm worried if the mobo can support the cpu or not.
the mobo has the right socket but it doesn't show it supports phenom II cpu's.
and on the mobo website, I couldn't find the cpu on the compatibility list.
so would they work together or not?
and if not, what would be the cheapest solution for a mobo that can work with that cpu?

Best solution

a c 136 V Motherboard
a b à CPUs

With the latest BIOS update, this board supports 6 core CPUs

So it should support X4 940 as well, just make sure you have the latest BIOS installed first.
