'afternoon.
I am currently looking into building a gaming rig from scratch, and was wondering if the Antec TruePower Quattro (TPQ-1000-EC - 1000w) is a recommended PSU or overkill for this system:
Asus P8P67 PRO
Intel Core i7 2600-K
2x EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
1x 4 GB DDR3 1333
(Case= Antec 1200 if it matters)
I'm not sure if I want to go into overclocking somewhere along the road, but I do want to get the most out of the SLI setup. I realise a 750w PSU is "enough" for this system, but was wondering if it would limit my vidcard performances at all in the high-end range of games nowadays.
Also, would there be any recommended tools to calculate these things for myself? I am not too familiar with the related physics.
