Now I know I have asked a lot from the community lately how ever I have one more that I need some advice with. I have an older GA-7S748 Motherboard and need some advice as to what I can do with it (and no it does not fly like a frisbee either). It is coming out of a beat up used case that needs to be replaced and a new video card. I know it is from an older generation but I can give it to someone who has no pc in the first place. If you could tell me what the best cpu to use ,video card & case. I know it says it can use (Athlon XP / Athlon / Duron) for a cpu. I will use newegg and they seem to use athlon 64 and athlon II which is only available (I suppose I need to know which is faster) Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

o1die-- Has already helped me with the card on another board I had !

Look for a 4670 chipset card which may work with a low end power supply. Newegg has a powercolor brand for $114.99. In agp format, it doesn't perform as well as pci-e. I don't know if it will run on high settings; I would look for closeouts on the basic box for a newer motherboard that has a pci-e slot. I found my whole compaq system for $199 last year at fry's. In the pci-e version, the 4670 was only $64.99 at newegg.com yesterday. It works with a 300-400w power supply. Many high end video cards require a power supply upgrade, so check your power supply specs for anything else.
Thank you very much...o1die !
