Hi, I've just got a new GeForce GT240 and am having a load of trouble...

Have installed the card correctly, grounded myself, followed instructions, but still get the same blue screen error message just before windows is meant to boot. Its not the card, I know, I've ended up buying 2!!!

Spec
Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz 2.34GHz

4.00GB RAM (3.75 GB usable)

Packard Bell MCP73PVT-PM

Windows 7 64bit

Got enough watts (Corsier 450w)

Disabled (uninstalled) my Nvidia 7100 in device manager as could not do it in BIOS (Couldn't find and no updates as packard bell website has gone to s**t)

Do I have to disable the integrated graphics card on the motherboard!? (no manual and no websites help, cannot see any jumper array on the board)

Is this GPU even compatible??

Either the ram or video card. I had the same problem when changing cpus. My i5 had no onboard video. Windows 7 crashed with cpu change and video change. Your bluescreens should have a message. If it's a ram address, then that's the problem. Otherwise, list it here for more help.
