Setup SATA driver

I have ASUS M3N78-EM AM2+/AM2 and OCZ Vertex 4 VTX4-25SAT3-128G 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC I have tried all the drivers on ASUS support site and others. I need a SATA driver to load with XP setup F6 to recognize my SSD.

did you change in the BIOS for IDE to ACHI?

Yes it is setup for ACHI, BIOS recognizes the drive but XP setup won't.

I used CPU-Z and it says my chipset is 720a nforce. I downloaded the package for WINXP 32bit and copied the files to a floppy. Still no success. Since my mobo is 64bit do I need 64bit driver for WINXP 32bit install?

on the ASUS website under Others is one driver for:


NVIDIA AHCI Driver files for Windows XP/Vista and Windows 64bit XP/Vista.(WHQL)
NVIDIA SATA RAID Driver files for Windows XP/Vista and Windows 64bit XP/Vista. (WHQL)
