Help with motherboard sound drivers

Hi all,
I am setting up a new pc and am having an issue with drivers.
I cannot get the correct drivers to work with my M4A785TD-V EVO XPpro sp3, Every time I boot I am informed that there is new hardware present: "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus" when windows then searches and informs me that it cannot install drivers for the device . When I look at the Device Manager under "Sound, Video, and game controllers" highlighted with a yellow ! is "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus" Under the driver tab it tells me that --Driver provider Unknown
Driver version Not Available
I have installed all the other drivers from the install cd that came with but to no avail.

Help me please

I bit the bullet and just did a fresh install of xp, then the drivers, and then windows updates. This has fixed my problem though there must be a way to do it without redoing the entire install.
