Shows 2 video cards in device manager

I updated my ati 9800 video card drivers and it now shows a secondary card
how can I get rid of this other card I have uninstalled and reinstalled and
it still comes back.I have disabled as well and still comes back.I am running
winf=dows xp service pack 2

You can't get rid of this and it shouldn't cause any problems. This
"second" card is because your card supports dual monitors. You can connect
a monitor to the DVI and VGA connector and run dual monitors. This is a
"feature" of the card and not a problem with anything on your computer.
