We also have a HOW TO guide posted in our HOW TO section. Also, this is not how we handle warranty issues, it's how we handle tech support issues. If you need a replacement drive we have no problem replacing it for you. But, if you can benefit from a secure erase instead of removing your drive, shipping it out, waiting on the replacement, restoring your OS, etc etc then it only makes sense to secure erase the drive.
