  1. Check the disk's connections. If they are all in place properly and you still can't see the drive in BIOS, then your disk needs to be replaced.
  2. do you have your BIOS set for all of your IDE and SATA controlers ENABLED
  3. I hope no strange sounds that can be an early sign of a physical failure of the hard drive.
