Hi all. I'm buying items for my 1st build and had a question. I purchased this board and as I look through the specs, I see that it does not appear that there is a fan connector for a RAM fan (I have 3 sticks of 2GB Corsair Dominator 1600mz and dont want to install them without their own dedicated cooler). Can someone confirm that I am correct?

It looks like there is room for 3 chasis fans and a "power fan". I have a Cooler master HAF 932 and it has 4 fans build in.


Should I be looking for a board with more fan inputs?

You can use any of the headers for your ram fan.

Problem is that the HAF 932 has 4 fans by itself. It appears that the board has only 4 connectors. I'd be short one.

Well you could get a 3 pin splitter, or make use of the 3 pin to 4 pin fan adapters that come with the fans in your case and attach one or more of them directly to the psu.

If I use the 3 pin splitter, will the MB be able to differentiate between the 2 in one connector and auto adjust the fan speeds accoring to temp fluctuations?
