Opening IE6 full screen windows xp

Hello,
I have followed steps,START,PROGRAMS,IE,PROPERTIES,SHORTCUTS,"MAXIMIZE" and it doesn't work. Is there an another route?

Upgrade to IE7

To maximize a window, you can double-click on the title bar or use the buttons on the top right. If you have some other issue and you just worded what you are trying to do wrong, need to post again with some details.

not it right click DT then properties then desktop on the right r the controls ;)
