My pc doesnt start

Hello, my pc can't start. When i trying to format it, for the 1st boot is success. but after copying file, the pc restart then doesn't continue to next step. The screen just display "Press any key to boot from cd/dvd"..just like that as long as the cpu is running. How can be that??

Can u provide any background I.e u added new hardware, ect... Did u try use different os cd it could be bad software...

if i recall correctly, try taking out the disk when the pc restarts. if i remember when i did my lst format, windows 7 does that and i took my disk out since the bios kept booting for disk.

you could also try changing the bios bootup priority from DVD drive to HDD. that might work too.

the OS shouldnt need the disk anymore since it copies the files off the disk and stores them on the HDD and restarts. so try that!
