I have a pen drive ( Transcend) and I can do nothing with it. When I try to access it says "drive is not formated". Format it said the disk is write protected. I try using windows setup to re-patrition. Not work. Hiren's boot cd with Format tool was not responding when I apply operation to the disk. Format tools didn't work. But XP and SEVEN did say that the pen is healthy? Thank anyone that would give me the idea.

Is there a password on it? I had a Sandisk that did that, it was password protected.

I dunno. There seems to be no symptom of that. How can I tell and if there is how can I fix?
Thanks for your time.

To be honest, I can't remember for the life of me. It was pretty simple though, if I remember right...

Have you tried the properties window when you select the drive?
