Crysis on Windows 7 64 bit HD4650

Hey. i dont know where to post this but crysis is not working on my computer. the crysis.exe file on 32 bit and 64 bit doesnt work. but the crysis64.exe opens but complete black screen.

im using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit 7100
core 2 quad 8400
4 gb ddr3
hd4650.

its actually an acer 5800 i buyed a couple days before.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?????????????

Don't play Crisis, obviously your system can't handle it...

Besides the obvious joke - have you tried updating your current 4650 drivers?

Download and install version 1.1 and 1.2 - Do not install version 1.21 - apparently it doesnt work for 64 bit versions.

Also try turning off AERO (which apparently eats up ram like nothing)


If neither of those work - have you tried running in Compatibility mode with crysis?

One last thing - is your copy of Crysis legit? Just a question.
