MP3 Attachment

Hello,
When a person receives tries to open the MP3 attachment to the email message, they get an error message saying there was a problem opening the MP3, or a problem playing the audio.
What do I do to fix the problem?

It may be lots-o-things!

It may be from file associations in folder options(windows don't know with what to open them) , your sound card, codecs...........or even your browser.
So...
What is the actual error message?
Does this happens only to those recived via e-mail or all mp3's , or even all sounds?
What player do U use to play them?
What browser do U use? Have U tried another?
If you download them, (not opening directly from mail) let's say on desktop, and then try to open them/it with different players , do they work?
What sound card do U have? Do you have audio drivers ?

The error message is: There was a problem playing this file. (0xC00D0FEA: "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while downloading the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help.")
It's just happens with MP3s.

I record a voice over with Audacity, convert the wav to MP3, then attach it to an email. This has been working fine until last week.

Can you play it fine before you send it? This happen to one person or many? Are they saving the file first? Have you tried converting in a different setting?
