Help installing 5870 with antec 750w

I'm a little confused on how the power hooks up to the card.

My antec earthwatts 750w has a cable coming out that has a 6 pin and a 6 pin +2 pin. Do I hook these 2 up to the 5870 and leave the 2 pin hanging.

I guess I'm confused because some paperwork from the card said something about having 2 individual 6 pin connectors. This wire has 2 6 pin but on the same cable. Is this alright?

some cards need an 8 pin connector but alot need 2 6-pin connectors thats y most PSU's come with one 6 pin and one 6+2pin. just let the 2 pin hang and i believe it will be fine

Mine is the Earthwatts 650w and it is exactly like yours. As other member said, some cards like the GTX295 requires that 6+2 cable. In your case, you will only use the 6-pin pair, plug those in your 5870 and leave that extra 2-pin hanging out.
