How to remove write protection from a USB flash drive

I have a USB drive from the Library and have been using it for over year. Now how come it save write protected?

At the end of my message it was supposed to say "but you have no write rights" and not but who have to write rights. It's time I get some rest ;)  Let me know if this worked!

There should be a little switch on it (most of the time a slider) that will simply lock and unlock it kinda like how floppy disk does. If that's not the case then it came with software that must have got removed that can be downloaded from the manufacture's site. But who have to write rights, so hopefully you have that switch like most.
