$1000 system, are all the parts compatible?

ok so this is my first time building a pc and i just want to make sure all the parts are compatible/will work with each other.

I do plan to overclock the processor.

:D not really a full build since i have the case, mouse and keyboard, monitor, speakers..

  1. WHat RAM are you looking at as you havent mentioned any ?

    For $40 more I would get the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128423 and then perhaps go for the i7 920 which would almost cancel each other out.
    That board will allow you to get some some tri channel RAM - 6GB

    maybe this stuff - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145250 at $199.00

    That would take your spend to approx $1200 though. but a fair chunk of that is for the GFX card

    i would get that board but my case only fits micro atx. as for the ram, thanks! i forgot to add some ram in there.
