NZXT Phantom with Noctua NH-D14 and a side 200 mm fan

I found somewhere on the internet that if you get the nh-d14 in this case and get a 200 mm fan that the only ones that fit are 20 mm wide fans. does anyone have confirmations of this? i dont want to put the fan on the outside of the case.

You could always take the fan out, sometimes having too many fans obstructs airflow and gives you less performance.

i was hoping to be able to utilize the side fan though.

You'll just be blowing air onto the cooler.
