Windows XP does not show K drive under My Computer

Hello,
All of a sudden, Windows XP doesn't recognise my external hard drive which was always designated as drive K. It is connected to a USB hub and all other devices connected to hub are working. THe external drive itself is fine and undamaged. I can't do any back ups. Help!!

Have you tried to switch the harddrive to a different port on the USB hub? Maybe try a different cable too.

Have tried both those options. Any other suggestions? I am at a loss.
