I have Asus p5n-mx mobo and now i want to upgrade my cpu to core 2 duo E7500 and i check the asus website for cpu support of my board it listed all cpu support and i found that c2d E7500 is not listed. So if i go with core 2 duo E7500 is there any problem. and other core 2 duo like E8500 are too expensive. So what should i do?

If it isn't listed, then it might not work even though previous E7x00 CPUs are supported. Go ahead with it only if you can return the CPU. The compatible E8400 is only $52 more at Newegg.com.
