Gigabyte X38-DQ6

I have X38-DQ6 and I have problems with USB ports.My mouse and keyboard sometimes stop working and I have to unpluge it
it and pluge it back. this happens few times in a day and it's making me crazy.
I never had flash a bios and put some new drivers on, that's why I'm asking what should I put on first.My rig is 3 years old.
And I have win 7 64

It may be a power problem. Try to borrow an appropriately sized PSU to test with.

Do you occasionally have problems booting the system?

Everything works fine, no problems whatsoever with rebooting.Well I have to tell you I have more problems with my mouse.Keyboard is shoting down too but not that frequently as mouse.I have Razer Kexboard and mouse and first i thouth that this is a razer driver problem.So i updated those drivers and the problem remains.
If U think that is a PSU problem can I test it somehow?
