Cooling fan !!!

hello guys i have coolermaster elite 310 along with asus p7p55d,core i5 750 (not overclocked), 4 gb ram , xfx 5850(not overclocked) !!!
there is a default exhaust fan at the back......
i have installed another intake 120 mm cooler master fan....

there is a slot for another fan on the side...
i will be buying another cooler master 120 mm fan....but cant decide which will do best......
do i make the fan on the side an intake fan...blowing directly over my 5850 and the processor......
or should i make it an exhaust fan............

HELP ME !!!!

Basic rule is front and side fans are intake; back and top fans are exhaust.

True.


Plan on doing a comparison test before and after you add the side fan. Sometimes the side fan disturbs the natural front to back airflow enough to have a negative effect.
