Economy gaming pc specs

Hello,
I want to build a gameing pc with my teenage son. I also want to do it on a budget.I have an older case and power supply (Sony vcg-rc210g)I would like to use if I can put in new mbd /w chip, vid cd, ram, hd. Any suggestions

Hmm 1st research that case if it could house at least an mATX formfactor motherboard and the specs of that PSU - if its all good perhaps a low power gaming el cheapo rig good to go for 1280 x 1024// 1440 x 900?
