Looking for some help choosing ram for my Rampage III Gene, I've checked the QVL but it has a very limited selection. Basically I'm looking for DDR3 1600 6GB (3x2GB).

Here is a list of my parts:

Intel Core i7-950 Bloomfield 3.06GHz 4 x 256KB

Rampage III Gene

Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB

XFX Black Edition 750w

Antec Nine Hundred Two Black Steel

EVGA 012-P3-1472-AR GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) SuperClocked 1280MB 320-bit GDDR5

My budget is around 150 give or take, and I'm looking for quality at a fair price.

Can I expect to see any deals with significant savings (more than 10-15$) over the next few weeks leading up to Black Friday/Cyber Monday or on those days themselves, or can I go ahead and pick up the memory beforehand?

Thanks in advance.

The Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D are extremely good, and are tested for your ASUS R3G:

Thanks alot, do you think I'd be able to find any of these on sale throughout november/blackfriday or is it pointless to wait?

Again the RAM I am recommending is TR3X6G1600C8D and I've been watching the prices go up and down so 'hopefully' it will go down then.

Try Nextag.com for pricing history, I'm on my iPhone. This link works on my phone.
