What kind of power supply do you have in your computer? I have a feeling that many systems based on a DG41TY may have come with low-power generic power supplies.

Processor : Intel Quad Core 8400
MB : Intel DG41TY
RAM : Kingston 4GB 800
Power Supply : Cooler Master Extreme 600w
OS: Windows 7/Vista 32 bit.
