i got a disk fail return code 7 what does it mean?

Your hard drive is either failing or failed. Do not attempt any repairs or fixes as that will just reduce any possibility of recovery. Remove the drive and attach it externally (USB) to a working machine and try to get your files off of it, then replace it. If this is not successful then the only recourse is a recovery service (pricey and still no guarantees).
